We are delighted you are considering giving a home to a pet!  We welcome adopters from all cities and counties. Pets and humans enrich each other's lives in remarkable ways.

• City or Out of Town Residents - We welcome adopters from outside Sacramento County or from cities that provides their own animal services, however, pets need be licensed with your hometown or service provider. Call (916) 875-5482 for assistance.

  The first Sunday of every month, the shelter opens to give people an extra opportunity to adopt pets.
