Donate

Time
Donating your time is the most valuable thing you can give to make a difference in the lives of the animals. There are many ways that you can help at the shelter, from home or at off-site events.
Visit our volunteer pages for more information

Supplies
The shelter is always looking for items such as toys, blankets, and food to help the animals.
If you have something that is not on the list, please contact our Volunteer Department at (916) 875-5848.

Funds
Donations of funds can be made through our non-profit affiliate TEAM-Teaching Everyone That Animals Matter. Funds are used for education, medical programs, special supplies and much more. Arrangements for paycheck deductions are available and all donations are tax exempt. Contact the Volunteer Coordinator for more information at (916) 875-5848 or CountyAnimalCare@saccounty.net

Planned Giving
Often times in estate planning, public shelters are overlooked. By including the County Animal Shelter in your will or estate plan you will leave behind a legacy that supports the unwanted animals of Sacramento County. For more information, call (916) 875-5848.
