How Can You Help

Photograph of Tia Maria the rabbit

There are many ways you can help the animals at our Shelter:

  • Volunteer - We welcome volunteers with a variety of experience and skills. This is a perfect opportunity for animal lovers 18 years or older who want to make a difference in the lives of shelter animals!

While we do often accept teens beginning at age 16, our teen program is currently full. If you are a teen, please check back in June for program availability.

  • Adoption counseling

  • Animal grooming and socialization

  • Off-site adoption or fundraising events

  • Clerical support

  • Take animals to TV appearances

  • Kong stuffing and preparing goody bags for events

  • Sewing projects such as bandanas and bedding

Inquire about the availability of documents in alternate formats.
