Lucy’s Story
I adopted
Lucy (formerly named Baby) from the Shelter in February 2004.
In January I had to put my German Shepherd 'Mina' to sleep due
to cancer. I wasn't really ready for another dog, but every
morning my other dog Zion would look
for his buddy Mina. Finally I couldn't take it anymore. I
needed to help Zion and myself heal from our loss. I arrived at
the shelter and found Lucy. She was six years old when I adopted
her and she is an AMAZING dog. She and Zion are now the
best of friends!
